This article walks through the different job settings for your agency.
When you are setting up your agency on the Sitter Pro platform, there are a few universal settings you can apply to your services. Below are descriptions and options for each one.
Job Settings
Send request directly to caregivers
- Members Only: If a member of your agency creates a job request in the app, their request will be automatically sent to any caregiver who is qualified and likely available for the job. If someone who is not a member of your agency creates a job, their job request will be sent to your admin dashboard for review. You can then contact them to gather any additional information about them that you need for them to complete their booking. Then you can send the request to qualified caregivers.
- Never: All job requests (from members & non-members) will be sent to the admin dashboard for review before being sent out.
Checkout Settings
Display Tip Field
- On: For jobs where caregiver wages are paid by credit card, clients will see an option to leave a tip.
- Off: Clients will not have an option to leave a tip for credit card payments.
Display Reimbursement Field
- On: For jobs where caregiver wages are paid by credit card, clients will see an option to leave a reimbursement.
- Off: Clients will not have an option to leave a reimbursement for credit card payments.
Auto-Charge Hours
- (Enter number of hours) In the event a client forgets to check out of a job and there is a credit card payment (caregiver wages or agency service fees), this is the number of hours to wait before automatically charging their card for the amount checked out by the caregiver. A common value is 24 hours.
Admin Notifications
Notify hours
- (Enter number of hours) In the event a job request has not been accepted/confirmed by a caregiver, this is the number of hours to wait before sending an alert to the admin dashboard.
Hours pending before job start
- (Enter number of hours) if a booking has not been accepted/confirmed by a caregiver, this is the number of hours before the job start time to to wait before sending an alert to the admin dashboard.
Caregiver Notifications
Send notifications to caregivers for upcoming jobs
- On: (Enter number of hours) This is the number of hours before a confirmed job start time that caregivers will receive a reminder.
- Off: Caregivers will not receive reminders for upcoming confirmed jobs.
Send notifications to caregivers for pending jobs
- On: (Enter number of hours) If a caregiver has not responded to a pending job request, this is the number of hours after job creation to wait before sending a reminder.
- Off: Caregivers will not receive reminders to respond to pending job requests.
Your settings can be updated as needed. Just make sure to hit 'Save' at the bottom of the page when setting up and making changes!
