Multi-day bookings help with the ease of adding multiple dates at one time for a client. You can quickly create a job and add as many dates as you’d like for a client. Read this article for more details on how to create a multi-day booking.
For example, if a client needs the next four weeks of care Monday - Wednesday, an admin can use this feature to quickly enter the needed dates and times for the booking instead of creating individual bookings for each date of needed care.
Once you’ve created a multi-day booking, the request will be sent to the best matches or to the matches that the admin has selected. Caregivers will receive a notification that the client needs care for ‘X number of days,’ and they’ll be able to review the multi-day booking request. The caregiver can accept all dates, decline all, or they will be able to select the dates on the multi-day booking that they are available for. If a caregiver is available for all of the dates on the multi-day booking and accepts all the dates, that caregiver will be assigned to the multi-day booking.
If a caregiver isn’t available for all dates, they can select the dates they can commit to, and the agency can see on the 'Multi-day search' the number of people who have responded, and then they can see the specific responses in the group details. If there isn’t a caregiver for all the dates on the multi-day request, the admin can then manage who gets the dates, and they can assign the final caregivers.
Once a caregiver(s) is assigned, the family is notified of the coverage that will be in place for the multi-day booking. If someone accepts all jobs, the client will only receive one notification. If the job is split between multiple caregivers, the clients will receive individual notifications for each date in the multi-day booking confirming the caregiver(s).
