Will walk through the process of how to assign (or reassign) a specific caregiver to a job.
When you have a job created, you can manually assign a caregiver to it instead of waiting for responses. When doing this, you'll want to make sure the caregiver is able to take the job ahead of time as the system will not check their availability when manually assigned.
Assigning a Caregiver to a Pending Job
From the booking screen, go to the 'Actions' button and select 'Assign'. You will then be prompted to select the caregiver you want to assign. Choose the caregiver who will work the job and tap on save. This caregiver has now been assigned to the job and the client has been notified with the confirmation notification.
Reassigning a Caregiver on a Confirmed Job
If a job is already confirmed by a caregiver, but they can no longer take the booking, you can either cancel the job or manually reassign it to a specific caregiver.
To reassign the job manually from the booking screen, go to the 'Actions' button and select 'Reassign'. You will then see the original caregiver and be prompted to select the new caregiver you want to assign to the job. You can also choose to send a notification and note to the client letting them know if the change. Once your note is complete, tap save. This caregiver has now been assigned to the job and the client has been notified with the Caregiver Reassigned notification.
