This article walks through how to check out on behalf of the caregiver, client, or both parties in the admin dashboard.
There may be instances where a caregiver and/or a client may need help checking out of their booking/job. Below are the steps to walk through these processes.
Checking out for a Caregiver
Once a job is 'In Progress' or 'Complete- Awaiting Caregiver Checkout', you can check out of the job for the caregiver. From the booking details screen, go to the 'Actions' drop-down and select 'Modify Time or Dependents'. Here you will see a screen where you can either update the time or number of dependents that were at the job. If nothing needs to be changed, you can leave as-is and tap on 'Save Changes' and the job will be checked out with the original booking details.
If you made any mistakes (or the caregiver originally checked out on their own and made a mistake) or the client disputes the time/number of dependents, you can modify the details up until the client has checked out.
Once the caregiver checks out, the client will be notified that they can check out of the job.

Checking out for a Client

Once a job has been checked out by the caregiver (either directly or through the dashboard), it can then be checked out for the client. From the booking details screen, go to the 'Actions' drop-down and select 'Checkout Client'. From here, you can review the details for the client, select the credit card to use (for jobs set to be paid by credit card), add a tip or reimbursement (if approved by the client and if configured in your setting), and tap on checkout.
If the job is set to be paid by invoice, all you will need to do is go to the 'Checkout Client' action and then you will see a confirmation that it has been checked out.
The job is now complete and cannot be changed.
